“Hoo” Haven is a wildlife rehabilitation & education center dedicated to rehabilitating and releasing, sick, injured, and orphaned North American wildlife. We are committed to educating individuals on the importance of conserving Mother Earth, from maintaining the land to ensuring that it is clean and beautiful for all. We are a 501(c)(3) Not-for-Profit facility and are 100% volunteer and donation-run!
WHAT WE DO
“Hoo” Haven is devoted to rehabilitating sick and injured North American wildlife. We welcome a variety of animals with the goal of nurturing them back to health. Once able to safely return to the wild, we release these amazing creatures! Some of our residents can sadly not return to their natural habitats, due to lifelong injury or due to the fact that they are a non-native species. These special residents are safely taken care of at “Hoo” Haven, a place that they call home.
“Hoo” Haven offers a multitude of educational opportunities, from our on-site tours to our wildlife programs! We have several programs including our Pelican Program, Eagle Program, and more!
